The Department of Agribusiness and Marketing (formerly Department of Cooperation and Marketing), is one of the core Departments of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, was established in 1963. The Department is renamed as Department of Agribusiness and Marketing in 2009 by the order of Syndicate.
Since its inception, more than 352 agribusiness and marketing postgraduates and Ph.D. students obtained degrees from this department, who cater to the growing demand for executives and trained manpower with strong skills in this specialized agribusiness and marketing arena.
Mission
To produce agricultural economics graduates with other four Departments in such a way that to generate influential contributions to agribusiness and marketing knowledge
