The agroforestry department is one of the leading centers dedicated to advance agroforestry education and research towards sustainable development. As we know that agroforestry is a land use management system in which trees or shrubs are grown in association with crops or pastures. It combines shrubs and trees in agricultural and forestry technologies to create more diverse, productive, profitable, healthy, ecologically sound, and sustainable land-use systems. However, our department's strength lies in the success of our potential teaching and supportive staff, our master's and doctoral students who initiates, design and implement several innovative pieces research and projects. The impact of our agroforestry education and research activities is intense and significantly produces quality graduates and also has a national and international impact.
