Short Description

Dr Md. Hemayatul Islam obtained DVM, MS in Obstetrics and PhD is a Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer of Department of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Experienced in 18 years in Livestock and poultry sector, more than 40 articles and one book published, attended in Malaysia, Thailand and India Seminar & General Secretary of Bangladesh Livestock Society.

Dr. Islam was a Deputy Chief Veterinarian in the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University of Rajshahi. He was graduated (DVM) from the Sylhet Agricultural University, with a Master of Science in Obstetrics from University of Rajshahi. He reported first time report in Bangladesh about Vector born (tick) Zoonotic disease, Q fever in Bangladesh. In his research period he authorized one international Book, 40 full length articles published in National and International Journal. He was attended and presented paper in International conference in home and abroad including Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Singapore and India.

He is successfully completed a zoonotic disease related project ‘Molecular characterization of Toxoplasmosis in Small ruminants’’ funded by Ministry of Science, information and communication Technology, 2014 solely and two project with my supervisor.

He fill better to work together, for that did some research with team and now doing research in a well panel. We were continuing a zoonotic disease awareness project “Control of Rabies through Animal Birth Control (ABC)” in Veterinary Clinic and Artificial Insemination Centre under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, University of Rajshahi.
